Hard copies of my new book are available to now!

Keath’s poems are both painful and euphoric. Silva unapologetically explores the nuance of the trans experience, and he does it with a delightful mixture of mature wisdom and childlike innocence.

"King Crone and The Empty Nest" is an important addition to any college course on Gender Studies or LGBTQIA Studies. The author is an older trans person and parent, so the material traverses a lifetime of ripening wisdom. The poems in this collection come from the depths of a transgender person's lived experiences. They are intended to be supportive of trans, non-binary, and gender expansive people and their allies. These poems are gritty, intriguing, and moving. They will likely elicit some tears, laughter, and a more thorough understanding of the challenges faced by the trans community.

I was not born in the wrong body, “I was born in the wrong world”. Right from the Introduction I was in tears! This book is truly healing.

It is an explosion of truth. I used to think that being trans meant ending a part of yourself, but this collection totally flips that on its head! He opens the door to fully experience myself as a trans person. We don't have to choose!

King Crone and the Empty Nest: A Collection of Transformational Poetry for Rites of Passage by Keath Silva is another amazing example of sharing ones journey to becoming themselves. In this book of poems Keath reveals the journey and transformation that has led him to becoming the person he is today. Through trails, tribulations, heartaches and darkness it proves that it always gets better in the end. Keath opens up in this book as raw and real as it could get. The book teaches about kindness and understanding and how you never know what anyone is going through just by looking at them on the surface. It shows how being kind in this world can have positive impacts throughout all of society. Keath demonstrates in this book that ones’ happiness at the end of the day is what matters most. It shows that it doesn’t matter what others think or say, as long as you are happy and have inner peace, then anyone else’s opinion doesn’t matter. Content matter this deep, personal and meaningful usually never sees the light of day and is typically reserved for a diary in ones room that nobody gets to read, except the author. This book of poems is published for all to read which shows how gracious Keath is to share his message with all of those who may be struggling, but don’t know how to go about resolving it. From Keath’s own words we should always keep in mind “I no longer sacrifice my well being for other people’s opinions about me.”

Deep, Meaningful Content. Definitely Must Read!

King Crone and the Empty Nest: A Collection of Transformational Poetry for Rites of Passage by Keath Silva is another groundbreaking book of poems that shows ones’ struggles through life and how to never give up no matter the circumstances. In this beautifully written book of poems, Keath combines sadness and darkness, hard times and good, sorrow, pain, awakening and happiness in a combination that will leave the reader feeling awe inspired and ready to take on any challenge in life that one has. Keath did not have to publish this book of poems for us to read; with a lot of deep meaningful materiel published in this book he was gracious enough to share his journey for the world to read and hopefully reach out and help someone who might be going through similar circumstances, but did not have an avenue or help to get them through their trials. Keath shows us in this book to always keep on our journey to happiness no matter what anyone else’s opinion is. Even if one doesn’t think they matter or fit into society, there are always people who will accept you no matter what. The finding of ones self to acceptance can be started with something as small as picking up Keath’s book and reading comfortable, heart warming words and knowing that you aren’t the only one going through your struggle, there are many who came before you and there are many who will come after you. This book emphasizes that happiness in life is worth more than anything physical in this world and waking up everyday with self love is something that nobody’s negative opinion can ever change about ones’ self. Within this book you will find the importance of never giving up and getting through tough times and that it in the end it will always get better. The darkest nights just mean the brightest mornings.

INSPIRING! The World Needs This Book

Keath Silva has this superpower with words that makes you feel everything – the struggles, the wins, and all the everyday stuff that's real.

But, here's the coolest part: hope shines through every page. His poems are somehow able to both mourn and celebrate at the same time. Silva is like the mentor I never had, showing you that you can be all the different versions of yourself.

This book isn't just rewriting narratives; it's throwing a trans party, and we're invited to dance! 10/10 recommend.

I Couldn’t Put It Down!

King Crone and The Empty Nest is a rare collection of works to be consumed like wildfire. Keath’s words guide us through the thorns while gently holding our hearts. We witness shining images and experience depths of emotion that reflect what it is to be unflinchingly oneself. These beautiful rites are rooted in softness and safety.
King Crone is an ode to the freedom found in vulnerability.

Mournful Magic! BEAUTIFUL“King Crone” is filled with the magic the world needs. There is so much triumph in Keath Silva’s poetry. “Trans Angels” is beautiful. “Boy Boobs” is incredible! This book holds space for everything a person could experience Silva writes about pain and pleasure with such ease. I felt like I was going on these journeys with him. He paints such vivid images with his words. What I can’t get over is how gentle his voice is, even in the poems about rage. Parenthood, Manhood, Womanhood, Personhood! I am so grateful to have found this collection of poems. I will treasure it always.
